Listen to NFL players, mental health advocates, and industry leaders as they share personal stories and strategies for overcoming challenges. Learn how others have navigated stress, anxiety, and uncertainty—and walk away with new tools for your own journey.

On February 28th, 2025, over 200 high school students gathered at Yuba College for the first ever Vibe Check Conference, a youth-led mental health event organized by Jakara Movement in collaboration with the California Commission for Behavioral Health, Yuba College, and local partners. The conference was designed to normalize conversations around mental health, reduce stigma, and equip students with tools, resources, and confidence to seek support. It was a phenomenal success!
Up next we're bringing Vibe Check to center of the central valley - Fresno! The Fresno installment will be October 17th, 2025.
And we're not stopping there! SOCAL will experience its first ever Vibe Check conference on October 24th, 2025.
Orlando Molina aka MC ZEPS was born and raised in Brooklyn NY. Now based in Stockton, CA, he is the creator of the kids book series Rhymosaurs.
Jared Verse is an American professional football linebacker for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League. He played college football for the Albany Great Danes and Florida State Seminoles. Verse was the 2020 CAA Defensive Rookie of the Year with Albany, a two-time All-American with Florida State, and 2024 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year.
Black Flag is a dance crew that wants to encourage people to create fearlessly by fostering confidence and creativity. The Crew has earned titles as Winners at World of Dance Las Vegas, as the Champions of Prelude Sacramento, and as Hip Hop International USA Finalists.

Vibe Check is designed for students 14-18 - the conference is an amazing and enriching experience for all students despite their connection and experience with mental health knowledge, resources and practices.
